A clean brownie bar for glowing skin

Popping in here quickly this morning to share a quick recipe favourite for my fellow clean eaters.

I happily receive quite a few questions about training and eating so I’ll be sharing more of a peek into my exercise and nutrition with you.

But first, a super nourishing, omega loaded CLEAN BROWNIE BAR RECIPE FOR GLOWING SKIN.

This bar is bursting with omega 3 & 6 promoting soft, supple skin while reducing inflammation. Chia seeds give a nice anti-ox boost helping to increase skin hydration. Totally free from dairy, gluten, processed sugar and nasties.

{WHAT YOU NEED}

1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup raw, unsalted cashews
1 cup raw, unsalted almonds
1/2 cup toasted seseame seeds
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup linseeds
1/2 cup melted organic coconut oil
3-4 TBSP organic maple syrup
2 TSBP raw cacao powder

Topping

1/2 cup melted coconut oil (you could use cacao butter instead)
1 TBSP raw cacao powder
1-2 TBSP maple syrup

{MAKE MAGIC}

Pop coconut, cashews, almonds, sesame seeds, chia seeds & linseeds in blender and whiz until all well combined.

Pour the mix into a medium sized bowl and add the melted coconut oil and maple syrup until you have a sticky mixture. Stir through the raw cacao powder and press the mixture into a lined baking tin.

For chocolate topping mix together 1-2 TBSP maple syrup, 1/2 cup coconut oil and 1 TBSP raw cacao powder.

Pour over top and refrigerate to set.

If you give it a whirl I’d love your thoughts.

Happy Friday beauties.x
